It may not be Valentine’s Day yet, but in the middle of winter, we can certainly use the kind of recharging that comes from cuddling with a loved one. These “Dynamic Life” t-shirts from ThinkGeek allow you to wear your devotion on the outside, mimicking the life-force display bar familiar to video game players everywhere. Two and half hearts light up when the “players” are on their own, but when the wearers are within hugging distance, their life force bars are full.
In case you can’t find anyone to wear the matching shirt, the site offers the option to buy a “transmitter pack” instead, which works like a second shirt to bring your life force bar to full. Seems a little depressing to me, but it could be surreptitiously placed in the object of your affection’s laptop bag to inspire a fantastically geeky romance…
