ObaMao

Oba-Mao shirts were recently printed, and then banned, during Obama’s visit to China. As Obama arrived, the Chinese government banned the sale of the shirts that showed Obama’s face turned in the typical position of the Chinese leader.
A CNN reporter was able to sneak one out of a store and get it on camera before being swarmed and detained by Chinese officials. She managed to keep the shirt but almost lost her passport in the process.
Most of the shirts were printed on a white t with “Serve the People” written on the front in Chinese and “Oba-Mao” written in English on the back.
Of course, small US companies are scrambling to manufacture the shirts while the Oba-Mao craze is still happening.
