Twitter Giveaways

Good news! T-shirts have become the new favorite giveaway item on twitter. Companies are scrambling to attract the most twitter followers and found promotional shrits are an inexpensive but desireable giveaway. Hundreds of people flock to companies’ twitter pages just to follow their ‘tweets’, all in hopes of winning a free t-shirt.
This one was used in a contest by Serious Eats. All followers had to do was post a reply to the question “What is your favorite way to make lemonade”. The best answer got a shirt. Serious Eats had a series of food related questions and shirts following this one but I just adore this cute Lemon Aid design!
I love that it served it’s purpose as a promotional item, but isn’t emblazoned with a company name. Free but logo-less, the best kind of t shirt ever!
