My T-shirt is Tolerant
By Mark | October 20, 2009

The National Equality March took Washington D.C. by storm October 11th. More than 200,000 people came out for the March, all sporting rainbow hats, buttons and signs in support of the LGBT community.
There are hundreds of shirts out there supporting the cause, including the thousands on sale around D.C. over the last week. However, this is has always stood out as one of my favorites. It’s non-defensive and happy, unlike some designs that seem to cross the ‘judgmental’ line (in my opinion only).
Among the issues discussed this year were Obama’s failure to repeal the ‘Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell Policy’, gay marriage and LGBT adoption. Of course, the most important theme was tolerance, love and respect.
For all people. All the time.
So I’ll wear my shirt, sport my bumper sticker and enjoy the progress being made!
