The International Food Safety Network (iFSN) at Kansas State University is a group of individuals committed to reducing the incidence of foodborne illness. iFSN uses BarfBlog to provide brief posts and commentary on food safety issues, post videos, powerpoint presentations and podcasts. The publisher of BarfBlog, Dr. Doug Powell, is an associate professor of food safety at Kansas State University, and his primary goal is to help members of the farm-to-fork food safety system to acknowledge and implement the best practices to reduce the risk of foodborne illness.
To promote BarfBlog, the iFSN has been offering promotional t-shirt for a $20 (USD) tax-deductable donation. There aren’t any attention grabbing designs on the shirt, but the back of the shirt will guarantee some laughs.
