Penn State Whites Out the Competition
By Mark | February 5, 2009
Most people use promotional t-shirts to show support for something they believe in. One group that has an unbreakable support system are Penn State Football Fans. They are infamous for their enthusiasm and pride that never falters, with good reason, as they have had a quite strong team throughout the years. College kids are the ultimate fan base for promotional t-shirts, especially free ones, and with a great football program, Penn State has numerous opportunities to come up with great ideas for shirts.
My favorite is when they call a white out, in which the entire student section wears white to the game, making the stadium look, well, white. When a white out occurs, students can either buy shirts throughout the many school stores on campus or even recieve one walking into the stadium. Either way, the shirts make for a great footbal promotion as well as an amazing site. Generally the shirts have some sort of tag line depending on which school they are playing. For instance, the “Rudy was Offsides” shirt was worn during a game against Notre Damn. Now that’s what I call killing two birds with one stone.
