Self-Addressed Stamped . . . Promotional T-shirt?

Do you wear your heart on your sleeve? How about your address?
A laundry detergent company in Thailand has been taking promotional t-shirts to a whole new level. A plain white, hand addressed t-shirt serves as the packaging for a sample of detergent and a letter with the promise that the shirt will be clean in just one wash, even after being sent through the notoriously unclean abyss of the postal system. I’ve seen promotional t-shirts packaged in a lot of creative ways, just never actually as packaging. It should be interesting to note whether this brand of guerrilla marketing will become popular in areas other than Thailand. I’m curious how well that detergent actually works. It’s one thing to wear your heart on your sleeve but walking around with your address across your chest is just asking for trouble.
